The ISTOK-SOYUZ Final Conference was held in Moscow, Russia on June 7, 2011. The discussion topics included:

• the results of the project and sustainability;
• the future prospects of the cooperation among EU and Eastern Europe and Central Asia (EECA) countries in ICT R&D area in the framework of FP7 and future EU R&D programmes
• the coordination of the EECA counties' national initiatives with the EU initiatives.

The conference was attended by Representatives of the EU Delegation in RF, Russian Academy of Science, RF Ministry of Education and Science, RF Ministry of Economy.
